Our Story
Rooted in the Bronx,
Built for the Block
1538 Deli Grocery Corp has been a steady presence on University Avenue in the heart of Mott Haven for years. We started as a simple deli — good food, fair prices, people who remember how you like your sandwich — and grew into the kind of place where the bodega regulars, the office workers on lunch break, and the late-night crowd all feel at home.
We stock the groceries your family needs, make the deli plates your crew craves, and pour the coffee that gets you through. It's not complicated. It's just what a neighborhood spot should be.
